Prayer Focus: July 9-16

Join together in prayer this week for our King of Glory Leadership Team and staff. Ask God to continue to bring physical healing to Pastor Rich as he recovers from his open-heart surgery. Pray for the staff as they continue to plan and implement the day-to-day ministries. Ask God to give the Leadership Team wisdom and discernment for our vision and top priorities for the remainder of 2026. Pray for understanding, clarity, and unity for implementation.

Pray for our new Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Maycee, that God would provide for her and her family and they would feel welcomed and cared for by our church family. Ask God to give our staff (Pastor Rich, Julie, Will, Ryan, Trista, Mikaela, and Maycee) a consistent passion for people and the ability to equip our congregation for ministry.

Prayer Focus: July 2-9

Please lift up those who are struggling with doubt in their faith and discerning how God is working in their life. Pray that they would know God and his people more intimately. Pray that God would place the appropriate people in their life to help them understand the will of the Lord and His plans and purposes for their life. Pray that they come to know and appreciate the wonder and mystery of faith and take comfort in the knowledge that God goes before us and has each step ordered out.

Read Psalm 106. Ask God to help those who are struggling with doubt to fill them with the hope of the gospel, His love for them, and restore them to a relationship with Him.

Prayer Focus: June 25-July 2

Please join in prayer this week for people in positions of authority, our elected officials, as well as those who serve our country (military, law enforcement, and first responders). Pray for wisdom for our government leaders for all decisions to reflect justice and love. Ask God to surround the President, Congress, and all local and government officials with wise counsel.

Pray for those serving in the military, that they would be protected and have guidance in their daily work. Pray for our first responders and law enforcement officers that God would protect them and help them as they serve our community. Give God thanks for the freedoms we enjoy and pray that we would use them responsibly and for the benefit of our neighbors.

Prayer Focus: June 18-25

Please be in prayer for God to open our eyes to the ways we can serve those around us and in our community. Pray for doors to be opened in relationships with our neighbors, family members, or others God puts in our path. Ask God to give us wisdom as we step into the messiness of life or difficult conversations of speaking truth in love. Pray that God would help us to reflect Christ’s character in our relationships and that they would bring glory to his name.  Ask God to help us to reach out.

Read John 15:12-17 and ask God to help us be in relationship with him first, and then to boldly go out to love and care for others.

Prayer Focus: June 11-18

Join together in praying for our “Belong” Focus during the summer at King of Glory.  Pray that God would open each family’s schedule to be able to attend one of our summer events. Ask God to give each family a desire to live in community with one another. Pray that God would strengthen relationships and build new relationships through these events.

Ask God to reveal to us the need for accountability, for someone to celebrate with, and for someone to help us grieve as those seasons come. Pray that God would give courage and prompt all families to take a step of faith to begin to build relationships through these events.

Prayer Focus: June 4-11

Pray for God to help us share the Gospel with those in our lives who have not yet heard or accepted it. Pray for wisdom with those who have hardened their hearts towards the Gospel and the Church of Christ. Ask God to give us patience and help us pray, knowing that He is the one who stirs the heart and gives the gift of faith. Share the names of 2 or 3 people that you want to have a faith conversation with so others can be praying with you that God would bring the opportunity.

Read Acts 8:26-40 and reflect on how we can remain faithful and ready to act when God presents us with a Gospel opportunity. Pray that God would help us remember the questions that Pastor Rich has given us as tools to begin the conversation.

Prayer Focus: May 28-June 4

Please join us in praying for those who are experiencing a season of grief. Pray that God would put people into their pathway who can listen, encourage, and pray with them. Pray that God would soften the hearts of those grieving to receive help from one of our care team members or a member of their community group. Ask God to protect those who are grieving from isolation in this difficult season.

Pray that God would give wisdom and compassion to our Care Leaders -   Julie, Will, and Randi Helder - as they walk alongside individuals who have experienced a loss or situation that is bringing grief. Pray that the presence of God and the eternal hope we have in Christ would give renewed strength to those experiencing grief.

Prayer Focus: May 21-28

This week, we are asking everyone to join together in prayer, remembering those in the armed forces who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Thank God for the brave men and women who lost their lives fighting in battle. Ask God to help us use our freedoms responsibly and for the benefit of all our neighbors. Ask God to comfort those who are remembering and grieving the loss of loved ones.

Pray for our nation and those in authority that they would seek God's wisdom and reflect justice and love. Pray for those serving in the military or other areas of service that they would be protected and that they would have guidance in their daily work.

Prayer Focus: May 14-21

Join together in prayer for those graduating and transitioning in school. Pray for those graduating from high school, including King of Glory's seniors - Layla Egan, Sierra Folk, Lincoln Hefty, Grace Jensen, Stephen Jenson and Preston Rounds. Ask God to surround them with Godly influence through relationships at work or continuing education. Pray for peace and wisdom for parents as they learn to encourage and stay in relationships in new ways as their children transition.

Ask God to provide job opportunities for those graduating from college and pray that they would find a place to worship, build relationships in a church community, and that they could be an influence to others for God's glory. Pray for children who will be entering Kindergarten this fall, as well as those transitioning to middle school and high school, asking God to provide for healthy relationships and caring teachers.

Prayer Focus: May 7-14

Join together in prayer for family relationships. Ask God to strengthen relationships between children and parents along with healthy relationships between siblings. Pray for God’s wisdom to guide all of us in our interactions with our immediate and extended family members. Ask God to be at work in the life of family members who do not know Christ.

Pray for God to open conversation opportunities to care for the spiritual health of family members. Pray healing and reconciliation where there has been strain in families. Ask God to clothe us with grace and patience towards one another in our families.

Prayer Focus: April 30-May 7

Join together in prayer this week for our King of Glory Leadership Team and staff. Ask God to give Pastor Rich and our Leadership Team wisdom and discernment for our vision and top priorities for 2026. Pray for understanding, clarity, and unity for implementation. Ask God to energize the staff and to help them carry out the programming areas with the priorities put in place by the Leadership Team.

Pray that God would provide the right new staff member to join our team. Ask God to give our staff (Pastor Rich, Julie, Will, Ryan, Trista, Mikaela) a consistent passion for people and the ability to equip our congregation for ministry.

Prayer Focus: April 16-23

Join together in prayer this week for all those serving in the Armed Forces. Pray for those in positions of authority within the Armed Forces to have wisdom, discernment, and the humility to ask for guidance from wise counsel. Ask God to provide loving support to family members at home while their loved ones are serving around the world.

Pray for each service member to be surrounded by others who will encourage them and be a source of steady support. Ask God for miraculous peace to be with families that are grieving loss or dealing with difficult transitions. 

Prayer Focus: April 9-16

Please lift up in prayer the AMONG Foundation as they seek to bring hope and love in the name of Jesus to their unique contexts. We pray for safety and protection of all who enter into potentially life-threatening and dangerous situations for the sake of the Gospel. We pray for wisdom and discernment for all missionaries and the leaders of this organization as they seek to do what is best for the people they serve while following Jesus. We pray that the hearts and minds of the people will be open to the Gospel and that the Lord would work in miraculous ways in the people the missionaries are serving.

Read and reflect on this scripture: Matthew 28:16-20. Pray that the Great Commission would impact the missionaries as they seek to live it out in their context. Ask God to lead and guide King of Glory as a church as we seek to live out the Great Commission in our community.

Prayer Focus: April 2-9

Join together in praying for the senior citizens in our community and the nursing home facilities.  Ask God to encourage seniors who are lonely and in need of visitors. Pray specifically for Avantara Nursing Home, that God would provide volunteers from King of Glory to visit those who are lonely and desire visits.

Pray for the leadership at nursing homes as they make decisions and put in place necessary processes and structures for the health of the residents. Pray that nursing home facilities can hire adequate and trained staff to care for their residents. Ask God to give energy and encouragement to nursing home staff.

Ask God to provide opportunities for us to reach out to the seniors close to us to share God’s love and encourage them, especially those who do not have family living close to them.

Prayer Focus: March 26-April 2

Pray for people to be diligent in their work and bring a Christ-like attitude to their work, no matter the type of work. Pray for supernatural ability for people to be patient and graceful with bad supervisors. Ask God to give people a fresh vision of the importance of their work to a healthy society. Pray for God to give people the necessary persistence in applying for a new job if needed. Ask God to shine the character of Jesus through each of us in our daily work lives.

Join together in prayer for family relationships. Ask God to strengthen relationships between children and parents, along with healthy relationships between siblings.
