Prayer Focus: Sept. 3-10

Join together in praying for wisdom in decision making. Ask God to give each of us and those in your sphere of influence a spirit of discernment. Pray for supernatural ability to make decisions in a complex and divided culture. Ask God to put people around us that will help us apply God's Word to specific circumstances in each of our lives. Pray for a spirit of discipline for each person in our congregation to be routinely reading God's Word so that we each have a strong foundation when making different decisions. Ask God for discernment for complex situations where we are seeking to be loving while also speaking difficult truths.
