Prayer Focus: September 10-17

Pray for our children’s and youth programs as they start up this week. Pray for the children as they gather and begin to explore or further explore what it means to follow and emulate Christ in and through their young lives. Pray also for the youth as they gather and begin wrestling with the challenge of living out their faith in a world that does not always see different circumstances and situations through a Christ-like lens. Lift up our teachers and leaders on both Wednesdays and Sundays who dedicate themselves, their time, and their God-given gifts to invest in the future generations of this church and the kingdom of God.

Pray that the Lord would provide for all needs throughout this next year of family ministry programming and that we would all faithfully seek Him as our primary source for all our needs. Read Matthew 18:1-6, consider the weight of importance placed on the faith of a child by Christ and the call to marvel at, encourage, and protect the growth of this faith in the children God places in our lives.
