Congregational Weekend Details

Details are being finalized for King of Glory’s Congregational Weekend from Friday, August 15, until Sunday, August 17, at Inspiration Hills Camp and Retreat Center, located near Inwood, Iowa.

There will be plenty of activities to choose from for everyone, regardless of age. Families are free to do activities on their own, but there are just a few time-specific activities on Saturday that require supervision from the Inspiration Hills staff. From 10-11 am, Inspiration Hills is offering archery tag, axe throwing, and the tower. These activities will have a maximum number of 30 participants, and will require guests to sign up for them. In addition, the swimming pool will only be open from 1-4 pm on Saturday. It will not be open on Sunday.

King of Glory is hosting some special events. First, bingo will be held Saturday, August 16, from 3-4 pm at one of the picnic shelters. Then, from 6-8 pm, there will be an “Amazing Race” where teams of adults and children will race around the campground to complete a series of fun-filled challenges.

Below are more details for the weekend, including activities and menus for the weekend’s meals. Families that are coming to camp will receive an email with information on how to sign up for meals and time-specific activities.
