King’s Kids Recap: September 30

Preschool-3rd Grade: This week we covered Genesis 6-9. These chapters talk about how the sin of the world was so bad that God caused a big flood to cover the entire earth. For forty days and forty nights, God made it rain nonstop. God told Noah he was going to destroy the earth, but save him and his family. Through lots of hard work, Noah built the Ark. When the flood was over, God gave a sign to remember his promise. Ask your kiddos this week what that sign was (they should say: a rainbow!).

Weekly Memory Verse: Genesis 7:12

4th/5th Grade: In our Questions and Answers book, we covered the question “How many persons are there in God?” The answer is: There are three persons in one God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Dig deeper this week and find out how all three work together!
