King’s Kids Recap: February 18

K-5th - This week's story came from Matthew 9:9-13. Jesus asks a tax collector named Matthew to be his disciple. Tax collectors were known for being greedy, cheating men. So when Jesus went to Matthew’s house, religious leaders got mad. But Jesus came for everyone—and those who are the worst sinners need him the most.

Preschool - Our story comes from Matthew 4:12-22. Today we learned that Jesus loves us and wants to be our friend forever. We need Jesus to help us make good choices and show love to others. Jesus teaches us how to be kind, share, and listen—just like He taught His disciples.
