Terry Redlin Food Pantry
As the school year ends, so does King of Glory’s time serving at the Terry Redlin Food Pantry in partnership with Wesley United Methodist Church.
Up to 42 Terry Redlin families were served each week with food staples donated by Feeding South Dakota, bread and other bread products donated by Bread Break and the St. Francis House, and milk/dairy products donated and delivered weekly by Prairie Farms.
Without these generous partners, the food pantry would not be possible. Thank you to the 16 dedicated King of Glory volunteers who not only helped the families “shop” for their food, but often shared a much-needed word of encouragement, a “see you next week” goodbye, or just a caring smile as they got to know the families and their struggles well.
Food partners and volunteers, you truly served as the hands and feet of Jesus, and your donations and volunteerism are greatly appreciated.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink.” Matthew 25:35
