Blessing Baskets Recap

Recently, the Student Ministries group at King of Glory packed and delivered three dozen Blessing Baskets to the Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety at 113 N St. Paul Ave. in Sioux Falls, just east of the Empower Sioux Falls campus.

This event is an effort to support and meet some of the needs of the women and children who have gone through the Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety program here in Sioux Falls (escaping difficult and abusive relationships/living situations) and are now ready to begin a new life as a family.

Unfortunately, when starting this new life, household and basic-need items are the first items skipped on the shopping list and are not always factored into the household budget (paying rent and other major bills take priority). So, these laundry baskets full of household items can provide a good start for these wonderful families.
