Ash Wednesday Service

King of Glory will hold an Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, February 18, at 7 pm.

Ash Wednesday is a tradition practiced by various Denominations to start a season of reflection, often referred to as Lent, leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. The purpose of Ash Wednesday is to remember our identity and take intentional time to remember our responsibility to return to the Lord. During the service, we will sing praises that help us reflect, hear a short message reminding us of our identity, and receive ashes in the form of a cross as a reminder of our mortality.

King’s Kids will meet at its regular time at 6 pm. The children will be dismissed early so they may join their families at the service. There will be no Student Ministries that night.
