King’s Kids Recap: October 14

Preschool-3rd Grade: This week we covered Genesis 11-13. These chapters talk all about Abram. God told Abram he would bless him and bless everyone who blessed him and even promised to curse everyone who would curse Abram. God promised Abraham he would make him a great nation. Ask your kiddos: How does the way Abraham responded to God show how we should respond to God? How does Abraham’s example help us trust God when it is hard?

Weekly Memory Verse: Genesis 12:2

4th/5th Grade: In our Questions and Answers book, we covered the question “What else did God create?” The answer is: God created all things, and all his creation was very good. Ask your child this week: What is your favorite part of God’s creation, and why?
