Wed. Recap

This week we continued in our BASICS series. Our lesson was on teaching and we dove into the importance of scripture. Here is the lessons overview. “Often times reading the Bible can seem like more of a duty than a privilege. Do we get the idea that we should read the Bible because it's the thing to do, or is there something more to it? Maybe if we begin to see the Bible for what it is—a holy book that contains vast riches and the keys to understanding how Jesus lived and how He wants us to live—we will begin to crave God's word as a newborn baby craves milk.”

As we continue to study the scripture, we are learning and seeking the Word of God. What a powerful thing we have access to. There are so many distractions and as we continue to grow in the Bible we can point out these distractions as we move from people’s opinions to the word of God!

If you have any questions or if you would like more information about our high school group feel free to contact me anytime!
