Wednesday night recap:
Middle school - We went through the third part of the story of the bible; redemption. This is the climax and most important part of the story. We get to be reminded of the Cross and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Our sin and failure were exchanged for a pure and holy life. Scripture tells us that if we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths, we will be saved. Christ is the ultimate sacrifice that we needed as sinners. Now the death that we deserve has been exchanged for an everlasting life with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
High School - In high school we watched the second video from Francis Chan's surrender series. This week we dug into surrendering our identity. As high school students, there is a huge temptation to be popular or feel valued by what others think of us. This week's video challenges us as followers of Christ to stop following the world and what they tell us to identify our lives in and start following Jesus and his example. Not surrendering just to surrender, but to surrender because of the love for people!
Some upcoming events:
