What? A Murder Mystery dinner.
When? Friday April 15th. Starting at 6:30 p.m. and going until 8:00 p.m.
Where? Right here at King of Glory
Why? We are hosting this as a fundraiser for our youth mission trip to Robins Nest in Jamaica in July.
Please come support our youth by being our guest detectives who will be interacting with our youth playing the roles of the largely dysfunctional members of the Stout family. They have gathered at their ancestral home for a family reunion, hosted by the elderly Malachai Stout. None of the Stouts have ever gotten along particularly well with each other, but the promise of a substantial inheritance has encouraged them to at least put on their friendly faces and attend Malachai Stout's occasional gatherings.
Our youth will be playing the roles of the Stout Family members and serving you a three course meal. With each course of the meal comes a clue and live interaction with the characters involved. As the meal goes on you will work with your table to try to determine who was at fault for the murder of the head of the house, Malachai Stout. You will get 1-2 minutes with each character to hear their story and have the opportunity to meet with one of them again as you seek answers to our mystery.
Along with our mystery, we will also be having a few activities going on for our children. Our prek – 5th grade students will have their own meal. They will be watching a movie and have an optional craft to do if they would like as the movie plays. The nursery will also be provided if the need is there!
Tickets are not required, but RSVP is REQUIRED by April 10th so get signed up today. A free will donation will be taken at the door for your attendance. You can sign up below or on the Connection Card on Sundays, to come and support our youth mission trip to Jamaica. If you are unable to join us but would like to donate to the trip, please CLICK HERE. Enjoy a three course meal, interact with our high school students, and bring your thinking caps as we host this Fundraiser Murder Mystery.
