Kids' Night every Wednesday at King of Glory
On Wednesday nights, we offer a meal for our kids and volunteers that starts at 6:15pm and is served until 6:45pm.
Our preschool - middle school students start at 6:45 and goes until 7:45 each Wednesday night. We do have transportation available if your child needs a ride. Please contact Doyle Burnside for more details.
A typical Wednesday Night at King of Glory:
- Pre-K/Kindergarten group meet in the classroom. The kids start off the night with some songs and then break off into two groups for the lesson of the day. They then form small groups and spend time with an activity. During this time, the kids have an option to work on memory verses.
- 1st - 5th graders meet in the multi-purpose room. We are using a curriculum called Orange Curriculum. These are series-based lessons going through a 3 - 5 week series with a main theme and memory verse. Our nights are set up with both large and small group activities and lesson time.
- Our 6th - 8th grade students meet in the youth room. We are also using the middle school Orange Curriculum and have both large and small group time for students to learn and discuss how to apply scripture to their lives today.
- High school students (9th-12th grade) meet starting at 7:45 and going until 9:00 in the youth room. Lessons surround 3 main points: topics, scripture and hot issues our students face today. We spend time learning and discussing how we can continue to grow and share our faith with those around us.
We invite you to join us on Wednesday nights!
