Hey, please consider joining us for worship and teaching on Wednesday nights beginning February 25. There will be a thirty minute worship service at 6:30 followed by a thirty minute teaching/conversation. I will be leading us through a conversation on what it means to be on mission with Jesus. In other words, we will be studying what it means to be the church. Last fall many in our congregation read a book entitled, "Breaking the Missional Code: Your Church Can Become a Missionary in Your Community." We will be using various items from that book. You do not need to the read the book to participate but you are invited to bring it along if you have a copy.
We are blessed to now have a permanent facility. Now we have to look at how we can be serious about Jesus' mission here in this location. We all come with different visions of what a church should look like so it is important for us to have these classes to create a unified understanding of what it means to be the church.
Lent is usually a time when we focus on the cross and its affect on our lives. Jesus went to the cross to save sinners like you and I. Now Jesus desires for us to be on mission with Him and bring that good news to others. These conversations on Wednesday nights will help us get focused on sharing the good news of Jesus. Please join us for worship and this important conversation.
