Serve Sunday Scheduled for November 2

King of Glory will hold its annual Serve Sunday on Sunday, November 2, from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

There will be no corporate worship services that morning. Instead, the congregation will gather at 8:30 a.m. at Sioux Falls Seminary for breakfast, encouragement and instructions. Following breakfast and a time of reflection, members will disperse throughout the community to perform a variety of service projects.

Unlike past years, there will not be a lunch afterwards as there is a schedule conflict at Sioux Falls Seminary. The facility is used for worship by another congregation on early Sunday afternoons.

This is the fourth year King of Glory has participated in Serve Sunday. It is a different type of worship experience where we go out into our community to bless others through practical service projects. Everyone is encouraged to sign up for a specific work project from the variety of options that are available. Individuals of all ages take part in the day as there will be projects of varying skill levels.

Sign up sheets for the different projects are available on Sunday mornings at the Welcome Table beginning Sunday, October 5.
