Five Students to be Confirmed on Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday, April 13, will be Confirmation Sunday at King of Glory. The confirmation ceremony will be held at the 10:15 a.m. worship service at Sioux Falls Seminary.

Five students, who are in their freshman year in high school, will be confirmed this year. The group includes Nate de la Montanya, Brennan Large, Brittani Ludwig, Kaitlin Reuer and Ashton Semmler.

On Saturday, April 12, these students will have the opportunity to share what God has done in their lives and profess their faith during a Night of Testimonies. The congregation is invited to attend this special event, which will be held at 7 p.m. at the Sycamore Center.

These students have been active in the Student Ministry programs Foundations and Dig on Wednesday nights, which serve as King of Glory’s confirmation curriculum.

More recently, the students have participated in special confirmation classes. Since January, the students met eight times to learn more about the following topics: Biblical Authority, Justification, Sanctification, Glorification, Baptism, Communion, Law, and Gospel.

In addition, the students have met with adult members of the congregation in a mentor relationship.
