Purchasing Hy-Vee gift cards is an easy way for people to support King of Glory.
Currently, proceeds from the sale of these cards go to help the King’s Kloset. Gift cards are available in $25, $50 or $100 increments and can be used to purchase groceries, gas and prescriptions. King of Glory receives 5 percent of all sold so if you purchase a $100 card the church receives $5.
Since the program’s inception in October of 2011, King of Glory has sold $170,875 worth of cards, meaning the church received $8,543.75 in return. Sales in 2013 were down compared to 2012. In 2012, $92,800 worth of cards were sold. However, last year, that total dropped to $68,650.
Cards can be purchased Sunday mornings before or after worship. In addition, can can be purchased on Wednesday nights at the Sycamore Center.
Checks can be made to King of Glory and put in the memo “for grocery cards.” If you have any questions, please ask John or Pat Bultsma.
