King of Glory kicks off its 2013-14 educational programming year on Wednesday, September 4, at the Sycamore Center.
Wednesday nights begin with the Wednesday Night Supper, which is served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. After supper, the preschool, elementary, middle school and high school students participate in their respective educational opportunities.
Here’s a look at the youth educational programming this fall:
King’s Kids (6:15-7:45 p.m.)
King's Kids on Wednesday is our main educational program for children pre-school through fifth grade.
We begin with a large group gathering for worship and praise songs. Then we break into two age groups: Preschool/Kindergarten and 1st-5th grades.
This year our young group will be covering New Testament material and our 1st-5th grade children will be doing a study on the "Promises of God". They will also be working on memorizing the books of the Bible.
Student Ministries Foundations (6:30-7:45 p.m.)
During Foundations, middle school students will be going through a study called Thrive. Students will explore what life would look like if we abandoned our regular routines and experienced everything that God has in store for His people.
Student Ministries Dig (7:45-8:45 p.m.)
During Dig, high school students will be going through a study called “Experiencing God.” Students will dig into knowing what God's will is and then doing it.
