Student Ministries to Hold Film Challenge Night

Lights! Camera! Action!

Members of the King of Glory Student Ministries are invited to participate in a Film Challenge Night on Sunday, March 3, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Sycamore Center.

Participating students will get their chance to produce a film. Students will be given a genre (i.e comedy, drama, mystery), a character (i.e. Walt Feltman or some other made up name), a line (i.e. “Do you smell that?”) and a prop (i.e. a fire hydrant). Props will not be provided. Students will need to find their own. There is no need to buy props. Students can get creative as things can always be made or pictures of the prop are acceptable.

Films must be submitted to Student Ministries Coordinator Kyle Helder by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. Kyle will then review all of the films to make sure they are appropriate.

Everyone will then gather on Sunday, March 3, to watch all of the acceptable films. Afterwards, students will have the chance to vote for “Best Picture.” The producers of the winning film will receive FREE MOVIE TICKETS!

Students interested in participating must let Kyle know by Monday, February 25.

All middle school and high school students are welcome to participate in this event. They are also encouraged to ask their friends to participate.
