The King of Glory Executive Committee has set aside a week in August as the time when members of the congregation are asked to assist with cleaning and painting the interior of the new facility that we will be leasing. The facility is located at 400 S. Sycamore Ave., near the intersection of E. 10th Street and S. Sycamore Ave.
Members are asked to consider volunteering for one of the five nights, Monday, August 13, thru Friday, August 17, from 6-9 p.m. Volunteers are asked to bring paint brushes, rollers and rags. Paint, roller pads and cleaning supplies will be furnished.
As soon as the lease agreement is finalized, King of Glory staff members will move their offices into the facility. The next task will be to prepare the space for the church’s programming needs. The first night for fall programming is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5.
