More Volunteers Needed for This Week's Outreach Project

King of Glory will conduct a June Outreach Project June 14-16. Several people have signed up to volunteer with this project, but more hands are still needed.

The project will be to paint the house for a Hawthorne Elementary School staff member named Izumi, who we helped on Serve Sunday in November. Volunteers will be needed on June 14 and 15 to scrape and caulk the house. We will begin at 5:30 p.m. each night. Meanwhile, additional volunteers will be needed to paint the house on June 16 beginning at 9 a.m. The more hands that are available to work, the faster the job will be completed.

Volunteers are asked to bring tools to complete the task for which they have volunteered. A few tools will be available, but not enough for everyone. Step and extension ladders are especially needed.

Izumi's address is 2000 W. Madison. The easiest way to get there is go north on Western Avenue to Madison (by the Arena). Next, go west a couple of blocks to Lyndale Avenue.  McCart Field is across the street to the south.  It is a small light brown house.

Please contact Randy Rehling by email or phone ( or 929-4423) to volunteer or if you have any questions or concerns.
