The spring Adult Education series concludes with a two-week session examining the End Times. The study will be held on Wednesday, May 16, and Wednesday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Society.
Pastor Rich will be lead the study and discussion on what the Bible tells us about the return of Jesus. Over the past four weeks, Pastor Rich has led similar studies looking at Worship and Prayer.
Approximately 40 people per week have attended the Worship and Prayer studies.
During this two-week studey, we will get an overarching picture of what the Bible teaches will take place at the end of time. The “End Times” are usually only studied but a few people and often ignored but the Bible clearly teaches that God is bringing everything to a point of major change when Jesus returns. Join us at Good Samaritan on Wednesday nights at 6:30 and the following questions are some items that will be covered.
The End Times study will examine the following topics:
* Will everything just burn up?
* Will there be a rapture?
* Are we living in the end times right now?
* How does the teaching on end times affect our lives right now?
Everyone is invited and encouraged to come, even if you did not attend the first two studies.
People are reminded that there will NOT be a meal served at 5:30 p.m. Also, there are no youth activities scheduled on these nights. Therefore, if you need nursery assistance, please contact Julie Burnside at 310-0293 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. She needs to get a count on the number of kids so that she can line up the appropriate number of nursery assistants.
