I would personally like to invite you to join me for a special three week bible study where we will study together Romans chapter eight. We will work through the chapter word by word. Don't worry it will not be boring as the content is anything but boring. The text deals with issues that are close to all of us. Below are three statements and questions that are relevant to all of us. Romans chapter eight will shed light on all three questions.
- We all still live in the "flesh" awaiting our eternal inheritance and we have made mistakes yet we are forgiven for those mistakes. How shall we live while still in the "flesh" as forgiven people?
- We all undergo varying degrees of suffering while living in the flesh. Why can we rejoice in the midst of suffering?
- We all face various challenges that cause us to question the love of God and oftentimes cause doubt in us. How can any good come out of those challenges?
If you have never been a part of an in depth bible study this is a great opportunity to take that step. There are no expectations of those attending. You can listen and make no comments or you can participate in the discussion as much as you like.
I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday night from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. on November 28, December 5, and December 12. If you are not able to attend all three sessions that is not a problem at all so come join the conversation when you are able.
